Mental Health Awareness
The AHA has partnered up with Beyondblue's 'Heads Up' campaign to raise awareness of mental health in the workplace within the Territory's hospitality industry.
The AHA (NT) encourages Members to utlise Beyondblue's promotional material available at www.headsup.org.au in order to make your staff more aware of mental health issues in the workplace and what support services are available to them.
The AHA (NT) has also partnered with a Darwin based Clinical Psychlogist, Cheryl Blakey from CPAC, who offers discounted services to AHA (NT) Members for clinical sessions, relating to the most common forms of mental health illnesses; depression and anxiety, as well as other mental health conditions and support sessions after traumatic events, e.g. robberies.
